Happy new year! Well so..it is my first time blogging in this new year.
Another first as it is my first time blogging using this new phone :D
well, that is all for the first timers.
Tonight too, I watched About Time for the second time. I guess, it is worth writing a review about it here.
I absolutely love the movie, everything about it from the characters, the plot, the setting, the music even...and the amount of lessons packed in that movie.
the story is about time. Yes, the name sums it all. Travelling in time. So, the males in the family can travel back to anywhere they want in their past memories.
There are a few lessons learned in the movie that are totally doable and applicable to real life.
From my own perspective I will explain some of these lessons that can be applied in life.
Firstly, no one can fix your problem for you. If you mess up, you have to brave the pain and pick yourself up after you are done with the consequences. Just remember to ditch the cause of your mess and never turning back there - keep moving forward. Cherish the people who are there for you during this time (:
Secondly, always look out for the people close to you. You never know when something will happen and they might be taken away from you. Just...treasure.
third thing, there is something worth fighting for in life and it is different for everyone. A person, a love of your life, a dream or desire, a chance..give all out and go for what you really want. And if it is meant to be yours, it will be - and the fight will be totally worth it.
one last thing - choose joy every single day of your life. Just stop and enjoy every little moment there is, because the moments only appear with a little time you take off and begin noticing them. Unplug. Every seconds you take to stop and observe the little things in your life that makes you glad is a reward in itself. Live life to the very fullest.
Ahh..done with the heavy stuffs from the movie but it is all worth mentioning.
Just gonna leave here with one last thing to adnit..I'm a total sucker for the teeny weeny bits of romance here and there in the movie. It is so cute! Imagine walking down the subway wearing animal costume with your bf/gf..ahh! Too cute >. <
