I realize I shouldn't give up so easily. It's just my first step and knowing that I have never done this before I should give myself another chance. I will persevere, and put all my best into reaching that goal. Believe in myself that I can do it.
Yesterday I was packing some of my stuffs and I came across some of the letters that my friends have written to me during the Sec3 camp. Reading their words have inspired me to work hard and think about how much I have gone through during that period. I remembered vividly that situation and how I managed to pull through and go out of my comfort zone. I'm not a person who is very confident about myself even though many people portrayed me as one. In fact, most of the time I worry about the impressions I give others or whether my action will lead to an awkward situation. But looking back, I have seen how much I grow and the breakthrough I have made, especially for the past few weeks. All I can say is that God play a part in my life and I'm putting my trust in everything I do to him. So shall I worry no more.
Like what I told some of my classmates in class today while we were playing bridge, I'm going to put in a lot of effort this holiday. 110% effort + perseverance. It's not going to be easy but it's not impossible. (:
